Our Story

We were working at a bustling organization of over 1,200 employees, things moved fast. Every day was a sprint toward the next deadline. When one milestone was crossed, another loomed immediately ahead. It was a high-output, high-pressure environment. And while we accomplished a lot, something was missing.

No time to pause. No moment to reflect. No spotlight for the people behind the success.

One project in particular, a massive overhaul of the Point-of-Sale system across seven restaurant locations. It was an eight-month marathon, led by our Applications Manager, Eric. He coordinated the rollout with precision, navigating technical challenges, tight timelines, and a constantly shifting landscape.

And then, it launched. Seamlessly.

Guests were served faster. Staff had better tools. Operations improved overnight.

But here’s the thing: nobody outside the project team knew Eric made it happen. He walked the halls like any other employee, just another face in the crowd. No applause. No thank-you notes. No idea he was the reason things worked better.

That stuck with us.

We knew there had to be a better way to highlight the quiet contributors. The unsung heroes. The people who make things happen behind the scenes. Not for the praise, but because they care.

That was the spark that lit Emanate.
